All Hail Caesar!

Julius Caesar was by far the most influential dictator of the Roman Empire a long time ago. People say he's ruthless, violent, heartless and many more.

Despite the harsh and cruel assumptions made about him, we must not forget that he was a great leader. Conquering nations worldwide, winning wars, saving men, portraying true power.

He fits all the characteristics of a leader should have. But sadly, this powerful image was murdered and back stabbed by his own people and not leaving behind...his stepson.

Why? How can the most powerful public figure at that time be murdered at the hands of his own?

Motive? Jealousy? Hatred? Revenge? Envy?

Or maybe he was killed because of the love for Rome?

By the justification of his killers, yes. It was for the love of Rome and the fear of Caesar getting out of hand.

It was said that Caesar was a man who never gets bored of power. They were afraid that the possibility of Caesar going out hand was high. So they planned an act. Something so sinister that a leader himself would never suspect.

This planned included 60 senators who called themselves Liberators and also included in this scheme was Caesar's stepson Brutus.

The scene where the Liberators and Brutus attempted to kill Caesar

One by one they came and stabbed Caesar and the last stab was delivered by Brutus. What a shame to have lost a great leader such as Julius Caesar but no one knows, it might be the right thing to do at the moment.

Syllogism is Cool.

For this entry, I've decided to rant about Syllogism.

Wanna know why? Because syllogism is cool.

Before we proceed, do you want to know who is the creator of syllogism?

This guy right here.

His name is Aristotle and he is cool. Jyeah. Haha.

Carrying on with the subject,
syllogism is a kind of logical argument in which one proposition (the conclusion) is inferred from two or more others (the premises) of a certain form.

For example :

Farees is rich.
Rich people are annoying.
Therefore Farees is annoying.

There! Isn't this fun? Haha. Let's try again.

Daniel is Zeus
Zeus has lightning powers
Hence, Daniel has lightning powers.

Ok, enough of being annoying, you guys get the picture right? Haha.
Cheers.

Smarter terms for negative words.

Nothing is perfect. No human is perfect, no animal is perfect, no machine is perfect and no language is perfect either. The content of the English language is not all nice and sweet.

Some words really bring bad and hurtful meanings. But don't fear. The next time we want to comment about other people truthfully even though it hurts, there's a savior. It's called Euphemistic Language.

What is Euphemistic Language?

Euphemistic Language is a tool to smooth over the rough edges of life, to make the offensive inoffensive, and to help make the unbearable bearable.

For example, instead of saying : Your fat!!!
You can say : I think you've gain weight.

See, it hurts less...

Euphemism can be seen everywhere these days. In movies, conversations, magazines, comics, television shows, radio shows and many-many more!

People implement this method to make things easier and to make their words seem much more pleasant than what they really are.

Anyway....

Here are some other examples...

Jack The Ripper

There are quite a number of serial killers in the world but from my point of view, the most infamous serial killer would be none other than Jack The Ripper.

Jack The Ripper was responsible for various murders in England many-many years ago. It's not only about the number of victims that made him popular but it was the way he murdered his victims.

To basically inform you guys, Jack The Ripper's identity was never really proven therefore his true identity still remains a secret. There are a number of suspects but not enough proof was allocated to bring this serial killer down.

This people above are among the highly possible candidates of Jack the Ripper.

It is said that the possible characteristics of Jack the Ripper is someone who has knowledge of handling a knife with precision, someone who is a psychopath, mentally deranged, a person with in depth surgical skills and many more.

Why so? It's because of they way he killed his victims.

These are the victims of Jack The Ripper also known as The Canonical Five.
They were murdered brutally. Some of them had their throats slit open, organs removed, body parts mutilated, severe wounds and many more.

The search for Jack the Ripper is still on the go despite his death since this happened around 100 plus years before.
